Typescript of a interview conducted by Ben Bahlmann on 12 Feb. 2000. The audiocassettes, from which the interview was transcribed, were retained by Bahlmann. Pattee talks about his connections to the aircraft industry in the United States before the outbreak of World War II. He tells about his training as a pilot for the B-17 aircraft, his deployment to England, and his combat missions over Germany and other parts of Europe.
